Delete your account

You can delete your Lacrydia account and everything in it at any time. This cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open Lacrydia and go to Settings.
2. Under Data, tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm and tap Delete forever.

If you want a copy first, use Export library in the same section.

What is deleted

• Your profile, username and sign-in.
• Your photos (full-size and resized copies), Tree, playlists, comments, likes, saved items, friendships and follows.
• Your push notification registrations.

Your profile stops being visible the moment you confirm. The rest is removed straight away, and any copies left in backups expire within 30 days.

What stays

• Messages you sent remain visible to the people you wrote to, shown as from a “deleted user”.
• Records of reports and moderation decisions are kept for 12 months for safety and legal reasons, without your profile.

If you cannot use the app

If you have lost your phone or forgot your password, first reset your password from the sign-in screen. If you still cannot sign in, email support@lacrydia.com from the address you registered with, with “Delete my account” and your username in the message. We will confirm and delete the account within 30 days.
