Terms of Service

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Lacrydia. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Lacrydia is provided by Joel Bergström, Gävleborg, Sweden. Contact: support@lacrydia.com.

2. Using Lacrydia

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Lacrydia is free to use.

3. Your content

You own the photos, text and other material you upload. You give us a limited licence to store, resize, display and deliver it to the people you choose, only to run and protect the service. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the short time backups and our safety records need. You promise that you have the right to upload what you upload.

4. What is not allowed

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Lacrydia. Do not post or send:

Do not try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to get around its limits or safety features.

5. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report a person or content from within the app and block anyone, at any time; blocked people cannot see your content or contact you. We review reports and aim to act on them within 48 hours. We may remove content, restrict features or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without warning where the breach is serious. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@lacrydia.com and we will take another look.

6. Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We try to give notice before removing something you rely on. We may update these terms; if the change matters we will tell you in the app first.

7. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Data → Delete account. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

8. Liability

Lacrydia is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for Lacrydia, which is currently nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your rights as a consumer. Keep your own copies of photos you cannot afford to lose; you can export your library in Settings.

9. Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are decided by the district court of Gävle (Gävle tingsrätt), without taking away any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
